The I Management Meeting of the Erasmus+ BRAVIOO project was held.

BRAVIOO is an initiative supported by the European Union through the ERASMUS+ program, which aims to create or modernize the ombudsman offices of participating universities. This initiative represents a commitment to improve the real implementation and tools of human rights in the field of higher education institutions.
BRAVIOO is a consortium funded by the European Union (GA 101129180) that is coordinated by the office of the University Ombudsman of the UC3M and in which the Office of the University Ombudsman for Students of the Universidade da Beira Interior also participates as European partners. (in Portugal) and the Spanish consulting company Open ODS. It has eight Latin American universities: two in Argentina (the National University of Córdoba and the National University of the Northeast); two in Bolivia (the Private Technological University of Santa Cruz and the Private University of Valle; another two in Chile (the Adolfo Ibáñez University and the Universidad de la Frontera); and two more in Honduras (the National Autonomous University of Honduras and the Universidad Francisco Morazán National Pedagogical School).
In this meeting, the partners have reviewed the status of the project, verifying progress through the presentation of reports on the seven work packages with the consequent evaluation of the risks, mitigation measures and the challenges of what remains to be done. At the same time, it has been conducive to executing activities that require presence, with work package meetings, evaluation of performance indicators and a sharing that has strengthened the sense of team of the entire project.
It was important to have had the in-person presence of students from the Adolfo Ibáñez University of Chile and the National University of Córdoba, Argentina, and students from other Universities virtually.
The meeting coincided with the 19th Annual Conference of the European Network of Ombuds in Higher Education (ENOHE), with the motto “From Plato’s Academy to Portugal: democracy, diversity and the role of the ombudsman in Higher Education”, in which the experiences of European countries such as Canada, Czech Republic, Holland, Australia, and also the United States and Mexico were known. Then, networking spaces were taken advantage of, valuable to ensure the sustainability of the BRAVIOO project.
