The Francisco Morazán National Pedagogical University (UPNFM), founded in 1956, is a public university dedicated to training teachers at different levels of the national education system, specializing in various areas of knowledge. Throughout this time, it has established relationships with various national and international institutions with whom it has developed agreements and cooperation projects. Therefore, UPNFM seeks to strengthen and expand its relationships and cooperation programs. UPNFM has national coverage in Honduras, with campuses in different areas of the country, serving a population of approximately 28,000 students. Its students are from the lower and middle classes. Throughout these years, it has maintained relationships with various national and international institutions with whom it has developed agreements and cooperation projects. This university has been active in the Council of Public Universities of Central America and has participated in numerous projects and networks of this organization.
