The Francisco Morazán National Pedagogical University (UPNFM), founded in 1956, is a public university responsible for training teachers at different levels of the national education system, specializing in different areas of knowledge. Throughout this time, it has been associated with different national and international institutions with whom it has developed cooperation agreements and projects. For this reason, the UPNFM seeks to strengthen and expand its relations and cooperation programs. The UPNFM has national coverage in Honduras, with campuses in different areas of the country, serving an approximate population of 28,000 students. The entry level of its students is low and middle class. Throughout all these years it has had relationships with different national and international institutions with whom it has developed cooperation agreements and projects. This university has been active in the council of public universities of Central America and has participated in numerous projects and networks of this organization.
