
The Universidad Tecnológica Privada de Santa Cruz de la Sierra was founded on September 9, 1994, in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, to meet the demands and needs of higher education at its different levels. It has three Faculties: "Business Sciences", "Science and Technology" and "Legal, Social and Humanistic Sciences", under the modular system, in which 18 Bachelor's and Engineering level degrees stand out, in the face-to-face and worker plan modalities, with degrees accredited to ARCU-SUR of MERCOSUR Education. Similarly, the Postgraduate Directorate is organized into four training areas: "Business School", "Tech School", "Law School" and "Social and Humanistic", with master's programs, diplomas and continuing education. It has a university campus designed and built for academic development, modern laboratories equipped and updated for practices, application of theory and development of skills, large and air-conditioned classrooms. It has agreements with the most important international networks, among which are: UDUAL, CRISCOS, MARCA and ZICOSUR. The summary of UTEPSA's mission is: "Educate to undertake and serve."
